Jeweils links unten nummeriert, mit Trockenstempel der Tabor-Presse, Berlin. Rechts unten in Blei betitelt, signiert, datiert. Zusammen mit Katalog zur Suite '89. In Original-Halbleinenkassette. Hrsg.: Edition Brusberg, 1990. WVZ: 317A-322A Provenienz: Privatbesitz Sachsen Die Mappe enthält 6 Linolschnitte mit Titeln: 1. Ausbruch; 2. Katastrophe; 3. Spirale; 4. Jahrhundertschritt; 5. Größe und Elend; 6. Ikarus erhebt sich. Die vorliegende Mappe entstand während des Wendejahres 1989. Mattheuer selbst erklärt in einem Gespräch mit Dieter Brusberg (Verleger) im März 1990: "Was jetzt als ein Ganzes vorgestellt wird, ist so nicht entstanden. Der einleuchtende Sinn der Zusammengehörigkeit ergab sich vielmehr aus den Ereignissen des Herbstes 1989. Bis auf eines, "Ikarus erhebt sich", hatte ich die anderen Blätter alle schon im Laufe des Jahres vor den wunderbaren Wochen im September, Oktober 89 geschnitten. (...)".
