Tajan

Tajan: 30 years of history and exceptional auctions

For over thirty years, Tajan has been the unmissable event for collectors and art lovers. With more than sixty auctions a year, numerous records set and growth on both a regional and international scale, Tajan is now ranked amongst the world’s leading auction houses.

We organise auctions of entire collections and themed sales. This generalist approach enables us to cover more than twenty specialities within the art market. Our expertise is recognised in numerous fields, including 20th-century decorative arts, design, sculpture (1850–1950), jewellery and watches, contemporary art, old master paintings and drawings, the High Middle Ages and ceramics, and Asian and Oriental arts…

At the same time, Tajan was among the first auction houses to take the initiative to organise more specialised and niche sales, which have helped to build our reputation. This is particularly true of our sales of Comic Strips, Russian Art, Wines and Spirits, Street Art and, more recently, Luxury and Vintage items.

TAJAN stands out for its international management methods, which guarantee its clients a level of responsiveness and flexibility unrivalled in the market, and for its proactive approach to supporting the art market, as demonstrated by the events it organises each year at its Espace: “The Artist and Those Who Support Them”, “Art and Design Without Borders”…
