Foundation and Vision

Founded in July 2013 by Nathalie Vermot, an auctioneer since 2005, Vermot & Associés Auction House was established with a clear vision: to combine tradition and modernity in the service of collectors, enthusiasts and sellers.

Designed as a house on a human scale, Vermot & Associés utilises the latest digital tools whilst remaining true to the great tradition of auction sales.

Thanks to this approach, Vermot & Associés has distinguished itself on the Parisian market by developing new specialisms – comic books, sport, photography and archaeology – whilst confirming its expertise in the traditional fields:

Modern and contemporary paintings, objets d’art, and design – and by establishing itself as one of the auction houses organising the most jewellery and watch sales in the city.

A firm foothold at the heart of the art market

In February 2017, the opening of La Salle at 20 Rue Drouot (75009 Paris) marked a major milestone in the company’s history, as it also established itself in the Drouot district.

This modern venue, specially designed for auctions, also features a storage facility unique to the neighbourhood, facilitating the preparation and management of sales under optimal conditions.

In December 2024, Vermot & Associés opened an office dedicated to free and confidential valuations at 7 rue Drouot (75009 Paris) – a contemporary and welcoming space designed to welcome clients wishing to find out the value of their items and entrust them to us for sale, right at the heart of the art market.
