MACROBIUS, Ambrosius Aurelius Theodosius In Somnium Scipionis lib[ri] II. Saturnaliorum lib[ri] VII. Ex variis ac vetustissimis codicibus recogniti, et aucti. [Geneva J. II Berjon for] A. Gryphius, Lyon 1585 16mo: 745-[112] pp. (usual toning, minor spotting, last blank ff. missing, occ. contemp. ms. annot.). Contemp. calf, floral central orn. ruled with a gilt fillet, spine with raised bands (spine and corners repaired, sm. defects on spine). Rare Geneva ed. printed anonymously for A. Gryphius (1527?-1599), illigimate son of the famous S. Gryphius. This book was printed with head pieces and initials used by Berjon and Chouet in Geneva (GLN).
