AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE OSIRIS STATUE, 26TH DYNASTY, CIRCA 664–525 B.C.
The standing statuette Osiris made from bronze, mummified?, hands clasped on his chest, he holds the flagellum in his right hand. He is wearing the white crown and the Uraeus. He wears a fake beard, and is adorned with a Wesekh collar. 21.2 cm. height, excluding base stand. CONDITION The crosier is missing otherwise in very good condition with green and red patina. PROVENANCE Ex auction house in Monaco 2019, previously in a private collection acquired between 1970-1980s.
