Una monumentale tela dipinta raffigurante il Compianto sul Cristo morto. Considerato il suo formato orizzontale insolitamente ampio e il supporto tessile, l’opera potrebbe essere stata originariamente utilizzata come Epitaphios o come un simile drappo ecclesiastico. XVII-XVIII secolo. Dipinto su tela. Il supporto tessile è stato rimontato su un telaio di legno e una cornice di epoca successiva. Condizioni: notevole usura dovuta all’età sulla superficie pittorica, con scolorimento, abrasioni, sporadiche perdite di pittura e piccoli fori. Sul retro sono visibili vecchi restauri e rattoppi. Montaggio e incorniciatura di epoca successiva. Relazione sulle condizioni disponibile su richiesta.
