LEGO 10266 – NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander 2019 48 x 28 x 9 cm Developed in cooperation with NASA for the Moon landing’s 50th anniversary, this 1,077-piece model with 2 minifigures recreates Eagle on the lunar surface. Gold-coloured landing equipment, a crater and a trail of astronaut footprints turn the spacecraft into a miniature scene from the historic 1969 mission. The separable stages tell an essential part of that story: Eagle’s lower section remained on the Moon, while its ascent stage carried Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin back towards the orbiting command module. That engineering detail gives the model meaning beyond its distinctive appearance. Now retired, this anniversary release makes a compelling companion to the Saturn V or a standalone tribute to humanity’s first lunar landing.New and sealed. May show minor signs of shelf wear.
