309 - Mudkip Gold Star #107 Holo (Swirl), EX Team Rocket Returns [ENG] 2004

Mudkip Gold Star #107 Holo (Swirl), EX Team Rocket Returns [ENG] 2004 Representing the absolute pinnacle of high-end Pokémon TCG collecting, Mudkip Gold Star stands as one of the inaugural and most legendary "Gold Star" cards ever created, introduced right here in the historic 2004 expansion. The market difficulty of encountering this holy grail—let alone seeing all three Hoenn starter Gold Stars presented simultaneously within a single auction offering—is a staggering rarity in modern hobby history. Back in 2004, Gold Star cards possessed an excruciatingly low pull rate, making any specific starter like Mudkip an exceptionally tough pull. Today, finding authentic, high-grade surviving copies outside of locked permanent collections is virtually impossible, as market availability continues to tighten exponentially. Masterfully depicted in dynamic, shiny color palette by legendary artist Masakazu Fukuda, Mudkip literally breaks the borders of its artwork frame—the revolutionary hallmark of the Gold Star series. Safely preserved inside an AiGrading rigid anti-impact slab, this magnificent specimen achieves an impressive 8.5 Near Mint-Mint+ overall grade. Its physical condition is underpinned by excellent surface scores, featuring a 9.5 for back surface and a solid 9 for overall surface. A breathtaking blue-chip investment asset and a true crown jewel that defines elite vintage TCG prestige.AiGrading Report: Mudkip Gold Star #107 Holo (Swirl)
