BIRMANIA, fine XVII - inizio XVIII secolo. Buddha con una grande corona ad alette. Seduto su un alto piedistallo a gradini, compie il gesto di prendere la terra come testimone. Di questo piedistallo frammentario, caratterizzato da un’erosione molto suggestiva, rimangono solo l’armatura e un anello di fissaggio. Il petto è adornato da un ampio pettorale. Legno laccato di rosso e nero con zone dorate. Altezza: 145 cm. Mancanze al piedistallo, belle tracce di usura naturale.
