Prima edizione. - Cancrin (1774 - 1845), generale e ministro delle finanze russo, scrisse questo libro in lingua tedesca sulla base delle esperienze maturate come intendente generale dell’esercito russo durante le guerre napoleoniche. In quest’opera Cancrin collegò per la prima volta in modo sistematico l’approvvigionamento militare (logistica/vitto) alle operazioni strategiche delle truppe. Egli illustrò come l’organizzazione economica e l’amministrazione di un esercito siano in stretta correlazione con il successo delle azioni belliche. - Vecchio timbro sul frontespizio, sporadiche lievi macchie. - Esemplare in buone condizioni, con margini ampi. *
