An important porcelain coffee pot decorated in polychrome with historiated bas-reliefs. Ginori Manufactory, Doccia, 1770-1780. h cm 23 Pear-shaped body on a molded foot, zoomorphic duck-head spout, spinning-top lid handle, ring handle with double intertwined scroll at the base. Trimmed in gold and decorated in polychrome "historiated bas-reliefs" likely depicting the myth of Phaeton and the Heliades.
