Pair of inlaid wall tables, Lombardy, 18th century 87 x 155 x 74 cm Protruding rectangular top with a curved profile, centered by inlays of natural and stained fruitwood, bone and mother-of-pearl depicting mythological scenes within cartouches and naturalistic corner compositions with bird figures; a drawer within the band with gilded bronze handles features a similar simplified decoration; curved legs resting on plinths, embellished at the base with carved naturalistic reliefs. Defects and restorations. The lot is accompanied by a technical report issued by Ce.S.Ar—Centro Studi Archeometrici—for CITES compliance purposes. Shipment outside the European Union is subject to the issuance of a CITES re-export certificate as well as compliance with the regulations of the destination country.
