Young Girl with a Jug, late 18th/early 19th century White marble, height 58 cm The figure's body is partially uncovered: the light robe, rendered with flowing drapes, slides down her torso, exposing her breasts and right shoulder. She lifts a hem of her robe with her hand, holding a jug in her left hand, and her right leg slightly forward of her left, which serves as a supporting pivot. Her face is tilted downward and turned to the right, framed by long, wavy hair. The work fits squarely into the neoclassical tradition of 19th-century academic sculpture, strongly influenced by the Neoclassicism of Antonio Canova. Minor defects
