The Grossetti auction house has been established in Draguignan since 2007 and has operated an office in Sainte-Maxime since 2022. It is a key player in the Var region for both judicial auctions (involving equipment and insolvency proceedings) and voluntary sales. With numerous monthly auctions covering a wide range of specialties, our auctioneers—Jean-Dominique Grossetti and Cédric Capliez—are dedicated to maximizing their sellers' interests while offering exceptional items to the most discerning collectors. Since 2023, the firm has organized two "Prestige" auctions annually—one in early summer and one in autumn—at an iconic venue in this historic Provençal town: the Hôtel Bertin in Draguignan. This Haussmann-style building provides a magnificent setting for the auctioning of fine art and rare objects.

From a collection of ancient gold coins bearing the likenesses of Roman emperors and a Sèvres vase created for the 1924 Paris Olympics to paintings by great Provençal masters, these sales have already yielded remarkable discoveries and captivated many enthusiasts.

Our auction house also extends its reach to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez through its Sainte-Maxime office and by conducting several notable sales. These include the auction of furnishings from the Mas de Chastelas in Gassin and—in a first for the firm—an auction of boats and maritime artifacts held at the Saint-Tropez harbor during the *Voiles de Saint-Tropez* regatta in October 2024.
