Christian Hesse Auktionen

CHRISTIAN HESSE AUKTIONEN was founded in 2010 as an owner-managed family business. Since then, we have held two auctions per year, at the end of May and the end of November.

We specialize in 20th-century books, particularly press prints, hand-bound volumes, artist’s books, first editions, and documents related to modern art movements. We offer 20th-century art (paintings, drawings, prints, and photography) in every auction.

We combine personal service—from the initial consignment inquiry through to the shipment of auctioned items—with international connections to collectors, libraries, and dealers.
