Blaeu used Cornelis Claesz.'s copperplates from the French 1609 ed., supplemented with some new ones. Not all of these last ones were already included in this 1612 copy. Copy illustrated with the full-page coat of arms of the XVII Provinces and with 98 views and maps on 94 ff., mostly double-page, of i.a.
