First published in the 6th part of the "De Nieuwe Groote Ligtende Zee-Fakkel", containing the charts concerning the navigation in East Asian waters which required for a long time a certain secrecy. In 1753 maps from the so-called "Secret atlas of the V.O.C." were finally published in print. This map depicts the coast of the Zhejiang province (East China) and the East China Sea and numerous sm. islands. Ref. Koeman IV Keu [383].
