British photographer, based in London around 1850, and one of the pioneers of stereoscopy. 4 prints by William Spreat (1816-1897) lithographer who embraced the new techniques of photography in the 1850s to become the foremost publisher of photographs of Devon (and parts of Cornwall) in 1857-1866.
