Un album photo de Hermann Steinberg, musicien au sein du 3e bataillon naval, à Tsingtao, 1912-1915 Environ 190 photos collées de différents formats, quatre photos jointes séparément, dont certaines ont été annotées ultérieurement. Militaires en uniforme du IIIe bataillon naval lors de défilés et d’autres événements, ainsi que pendant leurs loisirs, le bateau à vapeur Patricia, l’artillerie, des photos de groupe, le « Prinzenbad », des troupes coloniales étrangères, l’architecture et la population locales, des exécutions, etc. Dans un grand album ancien de couleur marron (usé, déchirures). Certaines photos manquent ou sont abîmées, tout comme certaines pages de l’album. Les intercalaires en papier calque sont incomplets. Traces d’usure et de vieillissement. Dimensions de l’album : environ 27 x 39 x 3 cm. Une rareté de premier ordre. Provenance : provient directement d’une collection familiale. État : II - III
