Le cabriolet permet de retrouver à ciel ouvert les proportions et la présentation de cette première génération. Cet exemplaire de l’année-modèle 1966 a été acquis auprès de Classic Car et importé en 2021 par son propriétaire actuel. Il conserve sa teinte d’origine Candyapple Red, avec une peinture refaite il y a quelques années, associée à une sellerie Dark Red patinée. La capote électrique noire dispose de son couvre-capote assorti en similicuir. L’habitacle conserve le volant rouge à trois branches d’origine et reçoit un autoradio Pioneer, actuellement non fonctionnel. Après son acquisition en 2021, le propriétaire a fait installer des freins à disque à l’avant et un coupe-circuit. Un contrôle technique récent accompagne la voiture. The convertible provides an open-air way to enjoy the proportions and presentation of the first generation. This 1966 model-year example was bought from Classic Car and imported in 2021 by its current owner. It retains its original Candyapple Red colour, with paintwork renewed a few years ago, complemented by patinated Dark Red upholstery. The black power-operated hood has a matching vinyl cover. The cabin retains its original red three-spoke steering wheel and is fitted with a Pioneer radio, which is currently inoperative. Following the purchase in 2021, the owner had front disc brakes and a battery isolator fitted. A recent French roadworthiness report accompanies the car. With its V8 and open bodywork, this Mustang invites shared outings in the atmosphere of 1960s American convertibles.
