Close to Clos de la Roche, its soil is very thin. The Vieilles Vignes cuvée offers dense, complex and smooth wines, made from small bunches affected by millerandage. 2013 is a late and demanding vintage. After a cold and wet spring, marked by a late flowering, the hot and bright summer allows the vines to catch up. A milder September aids the final ripening, up to the harvest on 5 October at the estate. The wines are distinguished by their freshness, finesse and precision, carried by fine tannins. 2015 is a sun-drenched vintage. After a mild and wet winter, the warm and bright spring encourages a rapid and early flowering. Heat and drought set in from June, tempered by the water reserves and the summer rains, which restart the ripening through to September. 2015 is the image of a balanced vintage that brings together fruit, substance, ripe tannins and fine acidity. Its ageing potential is remarkable. 2018 is a sun-drenched vintage combining quantity and ripeness. A very wet winter gives way to a mild spring that allows for an excellent flowering. During the hot and very dry summer, the vines benefit from the water reserves built up early in the season. The harvest takes place on 4 September at the estate. The vintage shines through its rich, spicy, tannic and full-bodied wines.
