MAGADOUX, Georges (1909-1983), en LIMOGES. «Capilla de San Aureliano, calle de la Boucherie». Placa esmaltada sobre cobre en tonos azulados. Dimensiones: 20,5 x 16,5 cm. Georges Magadoux, reconocido esmaltador, contribuyó a ampliar el prestigio de la ciudad de Limoges, «ciudad de la artesanía artística y capital occidental de las artes del fuego», al tomar la iniciativa de crear, en 1971, la Bienal Internacional de Limoges, dedicada a los esmaltes. Georges Magadoux es conocido por haber realzado el color azul en sus obras esmaltadas; el Museo de Bellas Artes de Limoges expone obras de este esmaltador.
