Gold and polychrome Baroque frame. Spanish School. Late 18th century. Carved, gilded, and embossed wood. Dimensions: 167 x 111 cm (lights), 188 x 135 cm (total). Rectangular Baroque-style frame with a wide, ornately carved molding. Plant and floral ornamentation alternates with plain gold-leaf plaques. The polychrome is well preserved, with a hint of red in the intermediate areas. An exceptional piece from the late 18th century, suitable for religious works or large-format portraits. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer's statutory rights.
