Pedestal with a Venetian-style cherub. Italian School. 19th century. Carved and polychrome wood. Dimensions: 79 x 30 cm. Decorative piece with a vertical structure, consisting of the figure of a cherub holding the upper canopy amidst scrolls and floral motifs. The surface is polychrome in metallic, green, and gold tones, with embossed rose details. This type of furniture, inspired by the 19th-century Venetian style, combines late Rococo style with the theatrical and ornamental character characteristic of the Italian Baroque. Its meticulous craftsmanship and sculptural presence make it an object of great decorative and artistic value. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer's statutory rights.
