Gotlib MARCEL GOTLIB RHÂ-GNAGNA Audie 1979 Lámina original n.º 1 del relato corto «Misère de misère», publicada previamente en Fluide Glacial n.º 12 en mayo de 1977. Firmada. Tinta china sobre papel 29 × 36 cm (11,42 × 14,17 pulgadas) Esta viñeta ilustra todo el genio cómico de Gotlib. Partiendo de «La pequeña vendedora de cerillas» de Andersen, transforma el cuento en una mecánica absurda: incapaz de encender ni una sola cerilla para calentarse, la protagonista los rompe uno a uno hasta quedar sepultada bajo un montón de cerillas inservibles. El ritmo, basado en la repetición y la escalada del gag, evoca el burlesque del cine mudo que tanto admiraba Gotlib. La expresividad de los rostros y el montaje muy preciso transforman una situación trágica y lacrimógena en una obra maestra del humor absurdo. ¡El psicólogo Bruno Bettelheim, especialista en cuentos de hadas en los años 70, debió de partirse de risa!
