Sello del Imperio sasánida; Irán, 224-651 d. C. Ágata. Dimensiones: 17 x 16 x 14 mm. Procedencia: Legado familiar de Ramón Martí Alsina y Ricard Martí Aguiló. Colección arqueológica constituida a partir de la década de 1950 por sucesivas generaciones de la familia, mediante adquisiciones en galerías y casas de subastas europeas. Sello sasánida tallado en ágata, con un cuerpo semiesférico y un pequeño orificio central para utilizarlo como colgante. El sello presenta un gallo tallado en intaglio, acompañado de una luna creciente y un texto en escritura pahlavi.
