Un fusil de percusión por aguja M 1862 Calibre 15,4 mm, número «7281», cerrojo restaurado, el resto con el mismo número. Cañón bruñido con cuatro estrías y alma pulida, con buen perfil de estrías y campo; en la parte superior, mira fija con el mismo número y dos aletas; delante de la recámara, marcas de inspección y la inscripción «Stahl». En el casquillo también hay marcas; a la izquierda, el nombre del fabricante, un águila con la inscripción «Spandau», algo desgastado; debajo, la denominación del modelo «B.G.Mod:62»; a la derecha, los años «1870» y «1872». Culata completa de nogal restaurada (marcas de presión), culata estampada a la derecha, herrajes de hierro y latón; en la tapa de la culata, el sello militar «66.R.5.128.».
