The Circus His work is primarily devoted to printmaking, through which he loved to convey, via his line work, the life, movement and character of his figures: Punch and Judy figures, harlequins, musicians and equestrian scenes. His precise and dynamic line work results in a body of work that is full of movement and whirling energy . . . He received several prizes and honours, and many of his works are held in public collections.
