Romane Holderried-Kaesdorf asistió entre 1942 y 1944 a la clase de grabado y dibujo de la Academia de Bellas Artes de Stuttgart. El Museo de Arte de Stuttgart rindió homenaje a esta caricaturista comprometida socialmente —cuyas obras presentan elementos del art brut, así como una afinidad pictórica con George Grosz y James Ensor— con una exposición individual. - En el reverso, restos de un montaje anterior. - Procedencia: 2005, Galería Ohse, Bremen; desde entonces, en una colección privada del norte de Alemania.
