NORTH AMERICAN SCHOOL. 20TH CENTURY. Female Portrait, 2000. Black and white photographic print. Dimensions: 35 × 28 cm. Portrait of a woman with short hair and earrings, her face slightly turned and her gaze directed towards the viewer. The figure is enveloped in a flowing white garment, with one arm raised and her hand behind her head. The composition is notable for the intense contrast between the dark background and the luminosity of the face and the fabric, whose folds are particularly prominent. The side lighting accentuates the features and creates a striking chiaroscuro effect, giving the image an intimate atmosphere and great expressive power. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
