Designed at the height of French design's fervor, the Deuville was born in 1962 for the dining room of the legendary transatlantic liner France, radiating that hybrid air of rational modernism and the public elegance of the decade. The Simone duo, father and son, condensed the essence of corporate comfort in this chair: compact lines, generous backrests, and enveloping arms that invite contemplation without sacrificing presence.
