Nahavan, Iran, circa 1975–80 – Hamadan region Wool velvet on a cotton backing Good overall condition Pale old rose field with a mosaic design of geometric floral branches, adorned with a large central medallion in tobacco and ivory tones featuring star-shaped flowers in the form of stylized diamonds. Four midnight blue and ivory spandrels with crenellated branch motifs. Triple borders, the main one brown with geometrically stylized combs and hooks. Length: 134 cm. Width: 101 cm.
