Measurements: 45 x 30 cm (photograph); 52.5 x 37.5 cm (paper) Mano Martínez’s photography explores the intimacy of the male body through everyday scenes marked by a sense of naturalness. In this composition, a young man is shown reclining on a bed, bare-chested and gazing directly at the viewer. The positioning of the body and the framing—which seems to observe the scene from the threshold of the room—create a sense of closeness and spontaneity. The subdued lighting and cool tones of the interior are hallmarks of the intimate and evocative atmosphere created by the warmth of the skin. The work reflects the photographer’s interest in male sensuality, identity, and the representation of the body outside traditional portrait conventions. Trained in Artistic Photography at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny Serra i Abella, Mano Martínez has built a career in fashion, advertising, and fine art photography, with work published in *Vogue España*, *Neo2*, and *La Vanguardia*. His personal body of work, centered on the male body and homoeroticism, has been featured in exhibitions such as *Yes It’s a Sin* (Barcelona, 2019) and *Imago Dei* (Barcelona, 2023), as well as in international group shows.
