His work revolved obsessively and poetically around the concept of silence, the absence of sound, and the limits of language. He never revealed his real name, adopting the pseudonym “Tres” because of the day he was born. His artistic career stands out for its groundbreaking nature, drawing on the traditions of Dadaism and agit-prop. He created iconic artistic interventions known as “Silent Actions,” exploring the renunciation of the voice, auditory emptiness, and the presence of the inert object. In his visual art, he embraced formal restraint, combining wood, pure geometric shapes (squares, circles, cones), and an almost hermetic graphic symbolism. His work often stood apart from the dynamics of the conventional art market. Following his death, leading institutions such as MACBA in Barcelona and the Centre d’Art La Virreina (with the 2017 retrospective *Tres. Blackout*) have embraced and highlighted his conceptual legacy.
