Elaborately designed 20th-century decoration in the Neoclassical style, featuring a magnificent cobalt glaze, opulent gold accents, and fully three-dimensional figures. The imposing chandelier rises from a multi-tiered, architecturally structured base featuring cobalt-blue and white porcelain elements. The base is adorned with sculptural garlands, acanthus ornaments, gold-colored decorative fittings, and elaborate relief decorations. In the central section of the slender, column-like shaft are two fully three-dimensional figures of women making music in antique-style robes. One figure holds a lyre; the other plays a violin. The intricately detailed figures are surrounded by artfully modeled, colorfully glazed porcelain blossoms and foliage. Above them rises a long column in cobalt blue and white, adorned with gold-colored ornaments. The top is crowned by a magnificent nine-branched candelabra with curved, richly gilded metal arms, floral tendril motifs, and decorative porcelain drip cups.
