3000 - Decorative Plate "Meissen" with Vine Leaf Design, 20th century

Decorative Plate "Meissen" with Vine Leaf Design, 20th century Decorative plate made of Meissen porcelain, with an underglaze blue sword mark on the reverse and faintly visible model and decoration numbers. White-glazed porcelain with a scalloped rim and relief vine leaf decoration. The design features three-dimensionally rendered vine leaves, tendrils, and small clusters of grapes, some gilded, some left white, and accented by fine golden leaf veins. The rim is additionally edged with a gold line. The expansive, decorative design with rich gold decoration lends the plate a stately, ceremonial appearance. Condition is consistent with its age, showing visible signs of wear. The gold decoration is noticeably worn in places, particularly on the raised leaf and tendril sections as well as along the rim. There are isolated small scratches, localized discoloration, and age-related deposits. The base ring on the reverse side is soiled; a wire hanger added at a later date is present. No major chips or restorations are visible. Diameter: 23.5 cm
