Mourey" figurative mantel clock featuring a farmer under a glass dome Decorative mantel clock made of gold-plated cast metal with a three-dimensional depiction of a seated farmer wearing a hat and holding a bottle, surrounded by farm implements and floral motifs. Elaborately designed, openwork base featuring curving rocaille motifs, grapes, a wine barrel, and ears of grain. Round, white dial with black Roman numerals, fine minute track, and two winding holes. Mechanical movement with chime, marked “M. EICHHOLZ” on the back of the movement plate. Marked “PH. MOUREY 63” on the case, with the number “40” next to it. Mounted on a blackened, molded wooden base with rounded corners and a removable glass top. Handwritten inscription “Laboureur” on the underside, along with additional numbering. COLLECTION ONLY!
