Magnificent Oriental ethnic necklace, rectangular amulet pendant with a black cabochon and an elaborate cluster of bells, silver-plated An exceptionally decorative, traditional necklace with a large, rectangular amulet pendant made of silver-plated metal, presumably from the Oriental or Central Asian cultural region, stylistically likely from the 20th century. The imposing pendant is adorned on the front with intricate filigree work, numerous small bead appliqués, and finely crafted floral ornaments. In the center is a circular, multi-bezeled decorative medallion set with a black cabochon of undetermined material. A particularly distinctive feature is the rich, movable fringe consisting of numerous spherical bells attached to several chain links along the lower edge and on the sides.
