25 - Large Apulian red-figure bell krater by the Snub-Nose Painter. 360–350 B.C. H 41.5 cm, ø 42.4 cm. On one side, a young seated woman as a maenad with a thyrsus and a tympanon; in front of her, a satyr with a kalathos and a thyrsus. On the reverse, two cloaked youths to the right of a pillar. White and yellow are used for details. Reconstructed from fragments; minor missing areas have been restored without retouching. Provenance: Formerly in the collection of A.
