Kirschl, Albin Egger-Lienz, Vienna 1996, Catalogue Raisonné Z 150 with illustration 1884–93: Studied at the Academy in Munich; 1899–1911 in Vienna; 1912–13: Professor at the Weimar Academy of Fine Arts. From 1913 in St. Justina. Considered one of the leading figures of Modernism in Austria. Received numerous honors (including a prize at the Venice Biennale in 1922).
