Monogrammed and dated lower left: E. W. / (19)28. Signed and inscribed with location on the reverse: E. Wolfhagen / Hannover. Mat. - Provenance: From the artist’s family estate. The Hanover-based painter and graphic artist studied at the State Art School in Berlin. In 1959, he had a solo exhibition at Haus Salve Hospes in Braunschweig. Wolfhagen focused on figurative subjects and landscapes.
