Salvador Dalí Figueras 1904 – 1989 Figueras – Minotaur – bronze. Brown and green patina. H. 19 cm. Signed on the base: Salvador Dali. Foundry mark: Airaindor. Certificate from Ars Mundi is included. Dalí was a painter, graphic artist, writer, sculptor, set designer, and actor. In 1928, he moved to Paris and became acquainted with the Surrealist movement. He also gained recognition in the U.S. with an exhibition of Surrealist works at the Julien Levy Gallery in New York. His first retrospective took place there in 1941. Dalí is one of the most famous figures of Surrealism and received numerous international awards.
