Set in the center with 1 oval star sapphire in a cabochon cut weighing approx. 8–8.8 ct (12.3 x 9 x 7.4 mm) in a blue-gray hue with a pronounced six-ray asterism. Flanked by 1 brilliant-cut diamond and 1 baguette-cut diamond on each side, totaling approx. 0.4 ct (tw/vsi). Wide band tapering toward the ring head with a finely textured, cross-hatched surface. Ring size 52. In very good condition. The large star sapphire forms the centerpiece of the ring. A characteristic feature is the optical effect known as asterism, in which a six-rayed star of light can appear on the curved surface of the stone when light hits it at a specific angle. The brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds set on the sides add elegant accents and highlight the classic design of the piece.
