Rare Art Deco diamond enamel ring with a pharaoh’s head 1920s/1930s. 750/- yellow gold, hallmarked. Total weight: 4.8 g. 1 diamond, approx. 0.02 ct. Blue-and-white enamel. Ring size 56. Very good condition. Expressive Egyptian-style ring with a three-dimensional pharaoh’s head and a blue-and-white enameled nemes headdress. The forehead is accented with a small diamond in a bezel setting. The ring shoulders are finely ornamented on the sides. A characteristic piece of “Egyptian Revival” jewelry, whose design language gained great popularity, particularly after the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922.
