Modern diamond and sapphire band ring Second half of the 20th century. 585/- yellow and white gold. Total weight: 11.8 g. Set with 2 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.5 ct (tw-w/vsi-si), 2 old-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.2 ct, and a cabochon-cut sapphire of approx. 0.3 ct. Ring size 58. In good condition. Wide, solidly crafted band ring with a finely textured, cross-hatched surface and polished edges. The asymmetrically arranged diamonds and the blue sapphire cabochon are individually set in slightly raised, rounded white gold bezels. The dynamic combination of different gemstone cuts and the deliberately irregular arrangement of the stones give the ring a modern, three-dimensional design.
