4-piece set: Tea set and mug - Fritz Rossmann Fritz Rossmann. Porcelain, white body, celadon glaze with colored accents in beige, brown, and green. Mug with red accent and a blue band running around the rim. Craquelure. All pieces marked on the glazed base: artist’s signature “FR” and the year 2010. 2 tea mugs (H 6 cm and H 6.5 cm), 1 teapot with handle (total height: 22.5 cm), 1 mug with handle (H 11.5 cm). Work by Fritz Rossmann (1958 Cologne – 2021 Höhr-Grenzhausen). He completed a pottery apprenticeship with Wim Mühlendyck in Höhr-Grenzhausen, graduated from the Technical College for Ceramic Design, and worked in his own studio beginning in 1984. He was a founding member of the ceramics group, to which he belonged since 1992. He held teaching positions at the University of Giessen and at the Institute for Artistic Ceramics in Höhr-Grenzhausen.
