Large Pitcher with Handles - "Broken Staff": Purple camaieu painting with a view of houses Wallendorf, Hammann family, 1772–1829. Porcelain, white, glazed. "Broken Staff" relief. Painted in purple-red. Blue mark under the glaze: W. 1st choice. Press no. 4. Height 31 cm. Pear-shaped jug with ear-shaped handles, highly domed lid with a spherical knob. -Condition: Glaze and paint wear, hairline crack at the upper base of the handle, lid restored and chipped on the inside. Hammer price 670 DM at Fischer in Heilbronn on May 18, 1992.
