Herrmann, Sabine "Jungle"; "pervomaiskoye" 2 drawings. Mixed media (tempera and chalk, 2-part, assembled) and tempera on vellum. 1989 and 1997, respectively. Up to 51 x 73 cm (sheet size). Monogrammed “SH” in brown colored pencil in the lower right and dated; signed “Sabine Herrmann” on the reverse, dated and titled; also signed “Herrmann” in pencil in the lower right, and signed, dated, and titled again on the reverse. Sabine Herrmann studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts and, until 1986, at the Berlin Weißensee Academy of Art under Heinrich Tessmer and Dieter Goltzsche. Her early works are characterized by figurative motifs, but since the early 1990s she has increasingly devoted herself to abstract color compositions. – Included: Two abstract mixed-media works by Jürgen von Hündeberg, each with a signature stamp.
