Hadid, Zaha Vitra Fire Station Color light print on vellum. 1993. 32.4 x 42.4 cm (50 x 60 cm). Signed "ZahaHadid." Edition of 500 numbered copies. The fire station for Vitra in Weil am Rhein was Zaha Hadid’s very first complete building, “a sculpture cast in concrete on site that contrasts with the rectangular grid of the neighboring halls like a frozen explosion” (see vitra.com, accessed July 28, 2026). This explosive force is also reflected in Hadid’s printmaking. A magnificent print with full margins. - We ask that you request condition reports for the lots, as the condition is listed in the catalog only in exceptional cases. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
