Nicko RUBINSTEIN (1964–2025). Charging Bull. Glass panel with metal frame. Height: 43 cm - Width: 53 cm Included is a giraffe painting, mixed media. Height: 50 cm - Width: 58 cm Note: After earning a degree in geological engineering, Nicko Rubinstein quickly turned to animal sculpture in 1991, creating a dialogue between the human and animal worlds. Deeply influenced by the Holocaust and the creative process, he highlights the hidden structure, the anatomy of beings and the world, and the internal framework, exploring the transmission and invisible structures of life. “One of the fundamental aspects of my work is the desire to reveal the hidden structure, the internal framework, and the anatomy of beings and the world, with the intuition—I would even say the conviction—that there is a secret hidden there…” His work is included in the collections of the A. G. Poulain Museum in Vernon, the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, and the Collège Sylvain Menu in Marseille.
